Sago Library—Trang

Mary Gates Hall (MGH) at the University of Washington, Seattle, is one of the university’s primary academic and student service buildings. Originally built as the Physics Hall in 1928, it was later renamed in honor of Mary Maxwell Gates. Designed in the Collegiate Gothic architectural style, MGH features intricate stonework, large arched windows, and a historic yet modernized interior. In this SIP we use the “personas” (profiles), who are a simplified representation of people and their main problems and needs that are repeated operating in the southern border province.The personas/profiles are based on the narrative analysis. They are not merely based on the demographic data or quantitative analysis: they represent unified perception, behavioral and thinking patterns. &nbsp;Also the profiles try to represent the diversity of age, social background and occupation, but the narratives on “farmer” do not solely represent 56-year-old men from Narathiwat, but it can also represent the views of younger or older ones, women, from different regions, etc. Many of them share perceived opportunities and challenges.<h4>พื้นที่สนทนาของแพลตฟอร์มนวัตกรรมทางสังคม</h4>การแก้ไขปัญหาที่ซับซ้อนและมีพลวัตในระดับท้องถิ่นไม่สามารถจะบรรลุเป้าหมายได้ด้วยโครงการเดี่ยว หากแต่ต้องมีการขับเคลื่อนอย่างเป็นระบบ เชื่อมโยงกัน มีความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ประชาสังคม และเอกชน เพื่อประสิทธิภาพสูงสุดและผลลัพธ์ทวีคูณ ทั้งนี้ในการออกแบบนโยบายหรือแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหานั้น จำเป็นต้องรับฟังผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียอย่างลึกซึ้ง รวมถึงมีพื้นที่ในการร่วมสร้างสรรค์ การสร้างพันธมิตร และใช้ประโยชน์จากผลลัพธ์ร่วมกันการรับฟังผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย (Stakeholder listening) ในครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการริเริ่มโดยโครงการพัฒนาแห่งประชาชาติ (UNDP) ประจำประเทศไทยในการขับเคลื่อนกระบวนการแพลตฟอร์มนวัตกรรมทางสังคม เพื่อการบรรลุเป้าหมายเพื่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (SDGs) ในระดับท้องถิ่นมีเครื่องมือมากมายในการนำเสนอสิ่งที่ค้นพบจากกระบวนการรับฟัง ใน SIP นี้เราใช้ “บุคคลสมมติ” (โปรไฟล์) ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนอย่างง่ายของผู้คนและปัญหาหลักและความต้องการที่มีการพูดถึงซ้ำๆ ในหมู่ผู้คนในจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้บุคคล/โปรไฟล์จะถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยการวิเคราะห์เรื่องเล่าที่ได้รับฟังจากคนหลากหลายซึ่งเป็นผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียในระบบนั้นๆ โดยไม่ได้ขึ้นอยู่กับข้อมูลทางประชากรศาสตร์หรือการวิเคราะห์เชิงปริมาณเท่านั้น แต่ยังแสดงถึงรูปแบบการรับรู้ พฤติกรรม และการคิด โปรไฟล์ยังพยายามสื่อถึงความหลากหลายของอายุ ภูมิหลังทางสังคม และอาชีพ ทั้งนี้ เรื่องเล่าของ “ชาวนา” ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงตัวแทนชายวัย 60 ปีจากนราธิวาสเท่านั้น แต่ยังสามารถเป็นตัวแทนมุมมองของคนอายุน้อยหรือสูงวัย หรือผู้หญิง จากภูมิภาคต่างๆ ได้เช่นกัน เพราะหลายคนมีมุมมองและความรับรู้ต่อโอกาสและความท้าทายบางอย่างร่วมกันได้
